Set Up :
-regular stance.
Action :
- hitter will swing at alternating locations in top and bottom of the strike zone.
- top of the zone pitches will produce a flat bat at contact from the hitter (barrel even with hands).
- top of the zone pitches are contacted out in front.
- bottom of the zone pitches will produce an angled bat at contact from the hitter (barrel below hands).
- bottom of the zone pitches are contacted deeper, allow the ball to travel.
- adjust to locations using spine posture and bat angle.
- emphasis on location recognition and adjusting spine posture and bat angle correctly.
- stride forward and load hands back to back shoulder.
- fire forward on time.
