- hitter will swing at alternating locations inside and outside corners of the strike zone.
- inside corner pitches are contacted out in front of the strike zone.
- outside corner pitches are contacted deeper in the strike zone, allow the ball to travel.
- adjust by recognizing pitch locations as early as possible.
- emphasis on location recognition and contact depth in the strike zone.
- stride forward and load hands back to back shoulder.
- fire forward on time.
